I’ve always admitted I’m not naturally gifted at drawing. But thanks to my work as an editor, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with amazing artists, learning quietly by observing and absorbing their creativity—gradually sharpening my own sense of art.
Today, on a whim, I painted this little watercolor of my favorite Totoro! ^_^ step by step, the little artwork came to life.
I reminded myself not to overthink it—painting doesn’t have to be complicated. Whenever I want to slow down or just feel joyful, I can pick up a brush and let my emotions flow. In the world of art, there’s no right or wrong—there’s only “me.” Just be myself.
